Our teams help businesses and communities do what is right and achieve their goals. Our Reward Advisory Services (RAS) team is a vital part of our specialist Tax offering, working closely with clients to design and implement employee incentive arrangements for mid-market clients, including privately owned and PE-backed companies.

To grow our RAS practice, we seek specialist practitioners supported by our national RAS team and local stakeholders. We offer flexible working options, including reduced hours and job shares, to help you balance work and life.

A look into the role

As a Tax Manager in our national Reward Advisory Services team, you will:

  • Work primarily with mid-market clients, providing highly technical reward advice in a practical and commercial context.
  • Deliver and advise on equity reward projects, share plan implementations, and specialist tax support on transactions.
  • Work on diverse projects such as tax-advantaged share plans, growth shares, cash plans, and transaction support.
  • Create bespoke solutions considering clients’ unique situations, offering technical advice and insights aligned with their broader structuring needs.
  • Collaborate across service lines including Corporate Finance, Valuations, and People Advisory.
  • Manage graduates and trainees, supporting their development.
  • Manage client accounts, lead on client relationships, and contribute to business development and market strategy.

Knowing you’re right for us

The minimum criteria to join as a Manager include tax experience in Equity Reward and a professional qualification (CTA / ATT / ACA) or equivalent, or being a qualified lawyer.

Preferred skills include:

  • Designing and implementing employee incentive plans
  • Excellent client service and time management skills
  • Proactive project management, including billing and fee management
  • Business development experience or interest
  • Drafting, review, and modelling skills
