Overview

Our client is a long established independent firm of accountants. They seek a corporate tax professional at manager or senior manager level. The ideal candidate will be ACA or CTA qualified or qualified by experience; including experience of clients with the following tax considerations: international tax matters, taxation of loan relationships, transfer pricing, large corporate groups and UK regulatory requirements for larger companies.

The firm can offer flexible, part-time and hybrid working. The Leeds, York or Cleckheaton office is the base for this role, with offices throughout Yorkshire. This is a local role with potential for progression and a good work-life balance. Part-time can be considered. The firm is unable to support visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities
  • Work alongside colleagues in corporate finance and collaborate with other departments to deliver integrated professional services.
  • Play a key role in practice development activities, for example writing thought leadership pieces, delivering presentations and attending networking events.
  • Manage and develop more junior staff.
  • Contribute to client service delivery for clients with international tax matters, taxation of loan relationships, transfer pricing, large corporate groups and UK regulatory requirements for larger companies.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • ACA or CTA qualified or qualified by experience.
  • Experience with the tax considerations listed above.
  • Ability to work in a flexible, part-time or hybrid environment.
