Job Description:

Are you a qualified Accountant or Chartered Tax Advisor with significant PQE, UK and International tax knowledge, and Tax Accounting know-how? If so, we have a great opportunity to work within a small global tax team for a PE owned market leading organisation. This is a maternity cover role offering an 8–12-month opportunity to support the Head of Tax with UK and Europe regional compliance, planning, and policy for indirect and direct corporation taxes. The role also involves transfer pricing, cash reporting, and project work.

What You will be doing:
  • Oversight of direct and indirect tax compliance processes, relationships, and controls for Europe
  • UK Corporation tax return, UK VAT return, European VAT, and corporation tax returns, support for Financial Statements
  • Support the global transfer pricing process
  • Support the Head of Tax on M&A, tax audits, and other advisory work
  • Assist with tax reporting for statutory financial statements and forecasting
  • Act as tax business partner for all SHL functions
What we are looking for from you:

Essential:

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA or Chartered Tax Advisor (CTT)
  • Significant post-qualification experience in corporation tax
  • UK and International Tax technical knowledge
  • Tax Accounting

Desirable:

  • OneSource familiarity
  • Stakeholder management
  • Clear communication and influencing
  • Effective planning and prioritisation
