Lloyd's is seeking a Direct Tax Manager to oversee tax compliance and reporting for the Corporation and its UK subsidiaries. The ideal candidate will manage a team of junior staff, ensure compliance with risk requirements, and provide technical support for tax projects. Lloyd’s are currently looking to recruit a Direct Tax Manager, to deal with direct tax issues affecting the Corporation, taking responsibility for direct tax compliance, reporting and payment obligations of the Corporation and its UK subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with risk and governance requirements, oversight of the Corporation’s overseas subsidiaries, technical input into project and advisory work and line management, training and development responsibility for junior member of staff.
The Tax team is part of the Finance Directorate within The Corporation of Lloyd’s.
The Tax Department manages the tax affairs of the Corporation and provides support and assistance to the Lloyd’s Market on tax matters affecting the Market, including the filing of tax returns and payment of taxes. It also represents the interests of the Lloyd’s Market with UK and overseas tax authorities.
