Tax Manager, Compliance & Reporting - Energy & Infrastructure, Permanent, London £119,000

A global infrastructure group is seeking a talented Tax Manager to join their Group Tax team. This role will play a key part in delivering UK corporate tax compliance, tax reporting, and forecasting for the international business. Reporting to the Head of Tax Compliance & Reporting, the successful candidate will also mentor junior team members and support wider tax governance and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage UK corporate tax returns and related claims (group relief, CIR, deduction allowances, etc.).
  • Lead interim and year-end tax reporting under IFRS and FRS 101.
  • Support the Group's tax forecasting processes, including P&L, cash tax, and effective tax rate management.
  • Liaise with auditors and prepare technical documentation to support tax positions.
  • Drive process improvements, ensure control compliance, and support OECD Pillar Two implementation.
  • Mentor and review the work of junior team members.

Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, CTA or equivalent qualification.
  • 5+ years' experience in UK corporate tax compliance and tax reporting, ideally in a large MNE.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS tax accounting.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with AlphaTax, SAP, and BPC is desirable but not essential.
