Job summary

Rutherford Briant is seeking a Tax Manager to take ownership of a varied client portfolio across SME and owner-managed businesses. The role blends compliance, advisory work and strong relationship management within a collaborative tax team.

You will lead and develop junior staff, contribute to revenue growth and assist in delivering targets while supporting wider business development. Flexible working and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification required.
• Previous Corporate Tax or Mixed Tax experience in a practice-based role.
• Experience developing junior staff within a team environment.
• Exposure to clients across sectors with ability to spot added value opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own portfolio of clients with autonomy.
• Support delivery of revenue and profitability targets across the tax team.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with owner-managed business clients.
• Coach, mentor and develop junior team members while helping drive team performance.
