Job description

The role

Our tax team is currently hiring for a unique and exciting role in our Dublin city centre-based tax team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing team in a flexible environment that values work-life balance, with hybrid working arrangements.

Our clients include major Hollywood Film Studios, leading independent film production companies, and some of the largest Television Production companies in Ireland, the UK, and the USA.

The successful candidate will join a team with deep expertise and strong client relationships in the media sector. Advising clients in the film and TV industry will be a significant part of the role. We also serve non-film and TV clients across various industries, as well as high net worth individuals and their families, across different tax heads. The role involves:

  1. Delivering high-quality tax advisory services on issues such as M&A, inbound/outbound corporate tax planning, IP migration and exploitation, and wealth planning and structuring for high-net-worth individuals.
  2. Providing expert Irish tax advice to our significant film and TV client base.
  3. Advising inbound businesses and individuals on establishing in Ireland.
  4. Managing the corporation tax, income tax, and VAT affairs of a diverse client base.
  5. Mentoring junior staff and contributing to attracting, developing, and retaining talent.
  6. Participating in business development and marketing initiatives.
The team

The Dublin Office has 25 staff members, supported by Partners, Directors, Senior Managers, Managers, Assistant Managers, Senior Associates, Audit Assistants, and Trainees. Our team was recently awarded the Irish Accountancy Awards' Advisory Team of the Year.

Located on St Stephens Green, the Dublin Office offers a vibrant work environment.

You
  • The ideal candidate will be a committed and ambitious Irish tax adviser (qualified CTA) with at least 2 years PQE and excellent technical and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with clients in the Creative Sector is advantageous but not essential, provided the candidate has a proven track record of delivering high standards of client service and handling complex technical work.
  • A natural team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude is essential.
  • Previous experience at the assistant manager or manager level in practice, preferably in a Top 20 firm, is preferred.
