Responsibilities

• Build, manage and develop your advisory VAT portfolio, supported by the Partner and Director.


• Lead engagement with HMRC for clients.


• Build and maintain an internal and external network in the local area to drive new business opportunities.


• Actively seek opportunities to sell new services to existing clients.


• Collaborate with the local team and contribute to broader business aims while maintaining personal autonomy within the team.

Qualifications

• Significant technical understanding of and previous experience within UK VAT.


• In-depth knowledge of recent key updates and areas of focus within UK VAT.


• Experience leading engagements with HMRC for clients.


• Experience and credibility when dealing with client senior management.


• An understanding of the regulatory and risk environment in which ICAEW regulated professional services firms operate.


• CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent.
