Tax Manager
Location: Workington, Cumbria
Salary: £40,000 - £47,000 + Bonus

Adecco are thrilled to be recruiting for a Tax Manager on behalf of our well-established client. This role involves overseeing income tax, corporation tax, VAT, capital gains tax, and inheritance tax affairs, ensuring compliance while minimising client tax liabilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide expert tax advice on compliance and planning.
2. Stay up to date with tax legislation and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations.
3. Manage tax returns, computations, and planning for individuals and businesses.
4. Liaise with HMRC on behalf of clients.
5. Support the Managing Director in achieving business objectives.
6. Train and mentor colleagues on tax matters.
7. Attend senior management meetings and contribute to business development.

What We Are Looking For

1. Strong experience in tax management and planning.
2. Excellent knowledge of UK tax legislation.
3. A proactive approach with strong communication skills.
4. Ability to lead and develop staff.
