Tax Manager – Fashion & Lifestyle | London | Hybrid Working

Our client is a global fashion brand rooted in vibrant creativity, with a rich history and a carefully curated brand identity. The business was founded over 60 years ago in London and is still run by its founder and family. Today, they remain true to their heritage: bold, independent, and full of discovery.

They are now looking for a Tax Manager to join the Finance team. Reporting directly to the Head of Tax, this role is pivotal to delivering our Group’s tax strategy and obligations while also contributing to governance, advisory, and strategic tax initiatives across the business.

This is an ideal opportunity for a qualified accountant or tax advisor (ACA/ACCA/ATT/CIOT or equivalent) seeking to work in a dynamic, international business that blends creativity with commercial strength.

The Role – Key Responsibilities

1. Working closely with the Head of Tax, you will lead the Group's tax strategy obligations both in the UK and internationally.
2. Managing UK and overseas tax compliance in conjunction with advisors, covering direct and indirect taxes.
3. Leading cash tax forecasting and ensuring timely tax payments.
4. Supporting financial reporting with tax provisioning and disclosures.
5. Maintaining and enhancing our tax governance framework, including SAO compliance.
6. Supporting and implementing transfer pricing policies and documentation.
7. Assisting with a broad range of tax areas: employment, property, environmental taxes, and more.
8. Partnering with the wider Finance team to streamline tax processes and introduce automation.

Your Background

1. Qualified (ACA/ACCA or ATT/CIOT or equivalent).
2. A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to manage competing priorities.
3. Strong commercial awareness and the ability to connect strategic tax thinking with operational detail.
