Job Description

Primarily responsible for reviewing, writing, and updating international tax content in the form of expert analysis for Bloomberg Tax & Accounting products and services. We are seeking a tax attorney or accountant with substantive international tax experience interested in working in a technology-driven environment. The Analyst will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of content and collaborate with various teams within Bloomberg Tax & Accounting.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Produce and review high-quality content to meet specifications and deadlines, including generating original content and editing work by external authors.
  2. Analyze complex tax developments for integration into Bloomberg products.
  3. Assess publications, market trends, and competitors to identify opportunities for new or improved products.
  4. Network with tax practitioners to build a pool of external writers and commission content.
  5. Train other analysts on specific products and services.
  6. Respond to subscriber inquiries about analysis scope and platform use.
  7. Support sales, marketing, and customer experience teams with subject matter expertise.
  8. Conduct research and training to stay current in relevant subject areas.
  9. Collaborate with US-based teams to improve product coverage and develop new concepts.
  10. Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
  • Advanced skills in tax research, analysis, and writing; publication experience is a plus.
  • Excellent editing, organizational, and technical skills for online publishing systems.
  • Ability to work independently, plan, and prioritize.
  • Solid knowledge of topics such as tax treaties, VAT/GST, and foreign tax systems.
  • Strong command of English and extensive written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external contacts.
Education and Experience:
  • Law degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum five years of professional experience in international tax or legal practice.
  • Proven record of tax or legal writing for publications.
  • Membership in professional organizations and a network of international tax practitioners are highly desirable.
