Job summary

Our client, part of the Search-Select LTD group, is seeking a Group Assistant Tax Business Partner in the Isle of Man to own a portfolio of fiduciary clients, including trusts and companies. The role blends strong tax technical work with supervision and staff development within the tax team.

You will supervise trainees, coordinate workload with the tax management team and liaise with clients and advisers on complex tax matters, ensuring deadlines are met and standards maintained.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years relevant tax experience.
• Experience with fiduciary structures, trusts and companies preferred.
• ATT or STEP or ACCA qualified (or equivalent) preferred.
• CTA studies commenced or willingness to pursue further professional qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of a portfolio of fiduciary clients (trusts and companies) and tax reporting.
• Oversee and review Group tax reporting for trusts and companies (Income Tax, Corporation Tax, CGT, VAT, etc.).
• Coach and develop junior colleagues; provide technical guidance and feedback.
