Toyota Financial Services UK is seeking a Tax & Finance Projects Accountant to join our Finance team, offering a fantastic opportunity to develop specialist tax expertise while contributing to a range of business-critical projects. The role will involve working closely with the Tax Manager on VAT, corporation tax and related compliance.

Alphatax and Excel skills are important, with hybrid working and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualificações

• VAT knowledge and ability to prepare VAT returns.
• Experience with partial exemption.
• Understanding of corporation tax.
• Experience in corporate and deferred tax accounting.
• Experience setting up tax affairs for acquisitions.
• Experience in tax compliance or advisory roles.

Responsabilidades

• Support Tax Manager on taxation matters for UK subsidiaries.
• Prepare IFRS Tax Accounts for current and deferred Corporation Tax.
• Prepare Corporation Tax numbers for CONETS reporting to Japan.
• Prepare using Alphatax and submission of yearly Corporation Tax Return to HMRC.
• Liaison with external advisors to ensure compliance with increased international tax burdens.
• Assist the Tax Manager in ensuring transfer pricing compliance.
• Monitor Group Relief claims or surrenders and manage losses payments.
• Production of quarterly VAT Returns to ensure VAT compliance.
• Assist PSA and related reporting while ensuring compliance.
• Maintain the SAO Compliance process.
• Set up tax processes for new entities with Tax Manager support.
