Roles and responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships and internal networks to address client needs.
  • Lead the delivery of outsourced tax reporting engagements with technical excellence and efficiency.
  • Manage corporate tax compliance engagements and outsourcing contracts.
  • Drive efficiency through compliance processes, controls, and technology leveraging.
  • Advise clients on tax implications of legislation and respond to technical queries.
  • Provide solutions to complex problems.
  • Interact confidently with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Identify additional client needs and liaise with specialists.
  • Lead business development, including contract negotiations.
  • Support group/statutory tax reporting and project management on global contracts under US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Coach and support team members.
  • Adhere to KPMG best practices and policies.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and resilience under pressure.
  • Network effectively to understand client needs.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Qualified by experience or with ATT/CTA/ACA or equivalent qualifications. Tax reporting/accounting skills are desirable.
  • Deep knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation and compliance, especially for large and complex groups.
  • Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and client service focus.
