The role

This role offers the opportunity to work within the UK tax technical and national network, providing access to UK tax specialists to service clients with robust value-added tax advice. You will gain and bring significant experience in building a business and advising clients. The role oversees a broad range of middle-market clients, including family-owned businesses, private equity portfolio companies, mid-cap and inbound companies, as well as scale-up/start-up businesses, on a variety of complex matters.

Key Responsibilities

1. Working closely with senior stakeholders across tax networks to build new client relationships and pursue new market opportunities.
2. Building a diverse portfolio of client engagements, including large corporates, private equity firms, family offices, and startups.
3. Focusing on private business tax, leading projects, and coordinating with relevant specialists.
4. Remaining up-to-date with technical developments in tax law and legislation to advise clients and stakeholders effectively, including delivering sessions at events.

The successful candidate will possess expert tax knowledge and the ability to collaborate with tax professionals to provide world-class advice.

• Possess an ACA and/or CTA (or international equivalent).
• Have relevant, up-to-date UK tax knowledge, especially on complex issues facing local and international businesses and private equity clients.
• Have proven experience in business development and creating profitable opportunities.
• Have leadership and project management experience.
• Use technology efficiently to manage relationships and deliverables.
• Experience in scaling efficiencies and implementing new ways of working across projects.
