Our client, a long-established and respected independent accountancy firm with offices in the North East of England and East Lothian, is looking for an experienced Tax Director to join their senior leadership team.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the tax department, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
2. Provide strategic tax planning advice to clients.
3. Supervise and mentor junior staff members.
4. Develop and maintain client relationships.
5. Stay updated on tax legislation and its implications for clients.

Qualifications:

1. Professional tax qualification (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA).
2. Significant experience in tax advisory roles.
3. Strong leadership and communication skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
