The Role

As a Tax Consultant, you will play a key role in managing tax compliance for a diverse client portfolio, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Reporting to the Tax Manager/Senior Manager, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with clients, offering expert advice and ensuring seamless tax processes.

Key Responsibilities of the Tax Consultant:

• Preparation of tax returns and P11D forms
• Managing tax compliance and routine HMRC correspondence
• Providing technical tax advice and solutions to clients
• Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client experience
• Taking ownership of your work and contributing to a high-performing team

What We’re Looking For in a Tax Consultant:

• Qualifications - ATT and/or AAT Level 4 preferred
• Experience - Strong background in tax compliance and advisory services
• Skills -Excellent attention to detail, organisational ability, and problem-solving skills
• Mindset - A proactive, motivated professional with a commitment to client excellence
• Tech-Savvy - Good working knowledge of tax software and digital reporting tools
• Team Player - Ability to collaborate and support colleagues at all levels
