Purpose of the Role

We are looking for an experienced Tax Consultancy Partner to manage a team of across both consulting and compliance functions. This is a key leadership role, focused on driving the Private Client Tax service offering, managing a portfolio of high net worth individuals, and generating new business through innovative approaches.
As the Partner, you will play a pivotal role in both client management and team leadership, while actively contributing to business growth. This role offers flexibility to be based in any of our offices.

Key Responsibilities
Client Focus
  • Lead the delivery of tailored tax consultancy services to high net worth individuals, ensuring a comprehensive wealth planning approach.
  • Oversee all aspects of personal tax compliance, trust taxation, and strategic advisory projects.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing them with proactive advice in light of tax legislation changes.
  • Work collaboratively with the tax team to ensure timely and accurate completion of client assignments.
Business Development
  • Proactively seek and generate new business opportunities by identifying client needs and offering innovative, forward-thinking solutions.
  • Take a lead role in promoting and marketing the firm’s services to new clients, while expanding and strengthening relationships with existing clients.
  • Contribute to the development of new services within Private Client Tax, enhancing the firm's offering.
Leadership
  • Manage and mentor a team of professionals across consulting and compliance, providing guidance, training, and feedback to support their professional growth.
  • Drive a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team, encouraging new ideas and best practices.
  • Play an active role in management meetings, ensuring effective leadership across the firm’s tax functions.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Private Tax Expertise: Extensive knowledge in Inheritance Tax (IHT), Trusts, family investment companies, intergenerational planning, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), residence, and domicile.
  • Leadership: Experience in managing and motivating teams, with a focus on creating an innovative and collaborative working environment
  • Business Development: Proven ability to generate new business and develop long-term client relationships.
  • High Net Worth Client Management: Extensive experience in advising entrepreneurial and high net worth clients on wealth planning and personal tax matters.
