Grant Thornton UK is looking for an Associate Director to join its Private Advisory Tax team. This role focuses on delivering expert tax advice on significant business transactions and offers opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative and flexible work environment. This is an exciting opportunity to join the GT tax team focusing on advising businesses and their owners on significant transactions.
This is an advisory-only role, with no compliance involved.
You will work on a variety of interesting projects, including tax structuring of trade sales, private equity investments, management buyouts, IPOs, carve-outs/demergers, and related planning.
This role may suit you if you have experience advising shareholders and their companies on transactions, whether from a corporate or private client tax background.
You will benefit from working with approachable, friendly colleagues in a supportive culture that maintains high standards of client service, technical excellence, and a practical, commercial approach.
The role is within our GT Private South & London team, covering transactions and traditional private client advice for high-net-worth individuals. There is flexibility to work across both areas if interested.
