Deliver high-quality tax compliance, while also supporting on advisory projects and relationship management
This role offers strong client exposure and is ideal for someone seeking to step into a leadership role with a commercial focus
Key Responsibilities
Manage a client portfolio including SMEs, high-net-worth individuals, and directors
Review and oversee preparation of corporation tax, self-assessment, and VAT returns
Advise clients on tax planning strategies, remuneration packages, CGT, and IHT
Act as the lead point of contact for client queries and HMRC correspondence
Lead, mentor and review work of junior team members, helping support their development
Identify cross-selling and business development opportunities across the firm
Ensure compliance deadlines are met and processes are followed to the highest standards
Ideal Candidate
CTA / ACA / ACCA qualified (or near-qualified with strong relevant experience)
Minimum 4-5 years in UK practice, with proven experience in both personal and corporate tax
Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to liaise directly with clients and HMRC
Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple client needs with minimal supervision
Proficient in accounting/tax software such as CCH, IRIS, Xero, or similar
