Job Description
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Preparing tax and accounts for individual clients and businesses.
  • Completing corporate, personal, and partnership tax returns.
  • Producing year-end accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited companies.
  • Preparing VAT returns and handling occasional bookkeeping tasks.
  • Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
  • Ensuring all work complies with the firm's quality standards.
  • Assisting with ad-hoc tax and accounts projects as required.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Tax and Accounts Senior should have:

  • Relevant academic qualifications in accounting or a related field.
  • Demonstrated skills in tax and accountancy.
  • Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.
  • A strong understanding of HMRC regulations.
  • Good working knowledge of various accounting programmes, ideally with experience in Sage, Xero, and CCH Central.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
