Who we are looking for
We have an opportunity for a Tax Administrator to join the UK Regulated Tax team. That Administrator will be responsible for the administration relating to daily tax compliance and involvement in tax preparatory tasks and projects

What you will be responsible for
As Tax Administrator you will
Preparation of tax payment calculations.
Preparation of CT600 returns
Preparation of taxation payment instructions
Preparation of quarterly taxation reviews to ensure accuracy of daily tax provision accrual.
Preparation of analysis of offshore income gain calculations
Responsible for office administration tasks in the team
Undertaking project related work as required
Learn and understand fundamentals of role
Independent performance of core tasks per daily checklist
Query logging, escalation and resolution
Develop a good understanding of State Street systems
Build sound understanding of departmental policies and procedures
Develop a basic awareness of SLAs as appropriate
Communicate effectively and build relationships with team and other contacts
Participate actively in training and development of all aspects of your role
Actively participate in appraisal process by completing a self-evaluation and suggesting appropriate development goals.
Display a culture of individual ownership of tasks to embed a clear individual sense of accountability in performing the role
Provide appropriate management information as required to support business unit decision making
Support the ‘Risk Excellence’ culture within the business
Adhere to limits of delegation and escalation procedures required by your manager so that you comply with internal policies and external regulations

Education & Preferred Qualifications
Accountancy or business degree desirable
Basic understanding of fund accounting and taxation relating to regulated funds
Advanced Excel knowledge plus other general PC literacy including MS Office PowerPoint and Outlook
