I am recruiting for a large NI corporate that is seeking to expand its established in-house tax team. The role will initially focus on UK & ROI #TaxAccounting and #TaxCompliance.

The successful candidate will join a team of 5 led by a highly experienced Senior Manager committed to supporting and developing their team. This is a highly visible role offering exposure to critical business projects, working alongside colleagues and external advisors.
The Group Tax Team is responsible for delivering the Group’s Tax Strategy through compliance, planning, and accurate tax accounting. This newly created role is ideal for someone keen to develop technical tax skills essential for keeping the Group updated on new tax rules, assessing impacts, and advising on strategic decisions.
Reporting to the Tax Manager and supported by Trainees, the Tax Accountant will focus on tax compliance and accounting for the UK and ROI subsidiaries, engaging with internal finance teams and external advisors. You will ensure the accuracy of tax reporting, assist in improving tax systems and processes, and build relationships with key partners internally and externally.
This role suits a dedicated, motivated individual open to development and challenges, capable of collaborating with diverse stakeholders. A proactive, curious, and solutions-oriented approach is essential, with opportunities to study towards a recognised tax qualification if not already held.
