Who We Are Looking For:

This position is ideal for a qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant with experience in practice. Alternatively, a qualified AAT with a minimum of five years' practice experience will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Preparation of sole trader, partnership, and company accounts from client records
  2. Preparation and submission of VAT returns and company tax returns
  3. Preparing tax computations and handling various tax and compliance matters
  4. Supporting private clients with compliance and advisory services
  5. Reviewing VAT returns and bookkeeping prepared by junior staff and clients
  6. Assisting with office workflow and maintaining client relationships
  7. Advising clients on bookkeeping software and process improvements
Key Skills & Requirements:
  1. High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  2. Strong numerical and analytical skills
  3. Excellent spoken and written communication
  4. Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines
  5. Confident working both independently and as part of a team
  6. Experience with IRIS software is beneficial but not essential
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various bookkeeping software
