Job description

Our client is an international group searching for a Tax Accountant to join the tax team in Bracknell.

As a market leader in its sector, this established brand has a UK tax team of 3 people. As the Tax Accountant, some of your responsibilities include:

  1. Prepare UK corporate tax returns, including return-to-provision calculations.
  2. Manage tax-related processes such as payments on account, group relief claims, loss utilisation, and corporate interest restrictions.
  3. Oversee the withholding tax process, ensuring maximisation of double tax relief claims.
  4. Draft Local GAAP tax notes and perform a tax review of UK statutory accounts.
  5. Support the preparation and submission of R&D tax credit claims, working with external advisors.
  6. Assist in meeting Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) compliance requirements.

To be considered, you will be ACCA, ACA, and/or CTA qualified with UK corporate tax and tax accounting experience. You need to be proficient in Excel and familiar with tax software (OneSource or AlphaTax). The hiring manager is searching for someone who is enthusiastic, a team player, and eager to develop their skills further.

This role is offering £55,000-£60,000, a discretionary bonus, and a host of benefits. The tax team follow a 4 day hybrid working pattern. Free parking is offered onsite.
