Job description

Chartered Tax Adviser (UK Tax) – £40,000–£45,000 DOE – Belfast (Various Locations) – Full-Time, Onsite with Flexitime Fridays

We are currently seeking aChartered Tax Adviser (UK Tax)to join a well-established Financial Services company based inBelfast, with offices acrossCo. Antrim and Co. Down. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced tax professional to step into an advisory-focused role within a collaborative and client-driven team.

Salary & Benefits:

  • £40,000–£45,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Full-time, permanent position

Key Responsibilities:

Advisory:

  • Deliver high-quality UK tax advisory services to a varied client portfolio
  • Advise on complex tax matters including corporate tax, VAT, income tax, CGT, and IHT
  • Support clients with mergers, acquisitions, and corporate restructurings
  • Act as a main point of contact for clients on tax-related queries

Compliance:

  • Oversee UK and ROI corporation tax and self-assessment return preparation
  • Ensure accurate and timely filing of tax returns and related documentation
  • Keep up-to-date with tax legislation and advise clients accordingly

What We’re Looking For:

  • CTA, ATT, ACA, ACCA qualified (or equivalent experience at CTA level)
  • Minimum 3 years’ UK tax experience, with a strong advisory background
  • Comfortable managing client relationships and advising across multiple tax areas
  • Solid understanding of UK corporate tax, VAT, and personal taxes
  • Organised, detail-focused, and confident working across multiple

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
