Job Opportunity: Band 6 Targeted Lung Health Check Nurse

Join our Cancer Team at Barts Health NHS Trust, supporting the Northeast London Cancer Alliance.

The Targeted Lung Health Check (TLHC) programme aims to improve cancer survival through early detection of lung cancer. Funded by the NHS Long Term Plan, eligible patients are invited for a Lung CT scan to identify tumours at an early, treatable stage.

We seek a confident, dynamic nurse with current specialist respiratory and cancer knowledge, advanced clinical skills, and a keen interest in lung cancer, quality improvement, and service development. The successful candidate will act as a key worker for patients undergoing health checks, providing aftercare, signposting, and support.

The Clinical Nurse role involves processing results from the TLHC programme under the supervision of the TLHC Clinical Director.
