Zusammenfassung

O’Neill & Brennan is seeking an experienced Taper and Jointer to work on a busy site in Birmingham. Working hours are 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday to Friday, with potential site changes.

You will tape and joint plasterboard, apply jointing compound, and finish joints ready for decorating, while maintaining high safety and quality standards. The role requires own tools and relevant equipment, PPE (possible to provide), and proof of Right to Work in the UK, with references from previous roles.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as a taper and jointer.
• Own tools and relevant equipment.
• PPE (This can be provided if required).
• Proof of Right to Work in the UK.
• References from previous work.

• Taping and jointing plasterboard walls and ceilings to a high standard.
• Applying jointing compound and tape to plasterboard joints.
• Filling, smoothing and finishing joints ready for decorating.
• Sanding and preparing surfaces to achieve a smooth, professional finish.
• Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality and health and safety standards.
• Keeping the work area clean, tidy and safe.

O'Neill & Brennan are currently looking for an experienced Taper and Jointer to start work on a busy construction site in Birmingham.

Working hours are from 7:30am - 16:30pm, Monday to Friday. (This could be subject to change on site).

Taper and Jointer duties:

• Taping and jointing plasterboard walls and ceilings to a high standard
• Applying jointing compound and tape to plasterboard joints
• Filling, smoothing and finishing joints ready for decorating
• Sanding and preparing surfaces to achieve a smooth, professional finish
• Ensuring all work is completed to the required quality and health and safety standards
• Keeping the work area clean, tidy and safe
