Job summary

Core Group in Liverpool seeks an experienced Taper & Jointer for a 2-week site project starting 26 October 2026. The role runs Monday to Friday in Week 1, and Monday to Thursday with evening hours in Week 2, on a site in Liverpool L11.

Role involves taping, jointing, filling and finishing joints, plus final sanding to a decoration-ready finish. DBS check is required; UKATA asbestos awareness and PPE will be provided on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in taping and jointing plasterboard.
• Good finishing and surface preparation skills.
• DBS check required and safety PPE provided on site.
• UKATA asbestos awareness/training required for site access.

Responsibilities

• Taping and jointing plasterboard to a smooth finish.
• Filling and finishing joints and edges.
• Sanding and preparing surfaces for decoration.
• Achieve a clean, decoration-ready surface.

Taper & Jointer - 1 Position

Location: Liverpool L11. Start Date: Monday 26th October 2026. Duration: 2 weeks. Rate: Dependent on experience.

Working Hours

• Week 1: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00
• Week 2: Monday-Thursday, 18:00-04:00

• Achieving a smooth finish ready for decoration

Requirements

• Previous taping and jointing experience
• Good finishing skills
• Safety boots required
• Other PPE will be provided
