Job summary

Severn Trent Water is seeking a Tankering Compliance Expert for a 12-month fixed-term assignment. Based in the Waste OCC, you will lead training, coaching, audits, and continuous improvement to ensure tankering performance meets regulatory and company standards.

You will partner with OCC leaders, field operations, and suppliers to embed best practice, enhance capability, and deliver safe, compliant operations across tankering activities.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engaging inductions, training, and coaching programmes for field teams.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and tankering procedures.
• Ability to audit, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inductions, training, and coaching to Tankering teams to build capability.
• Act as Tankering Subject Matter Expert for OCC and field teams.
• Drive compliance with procedures, regulatory requirements, and supplier obligations.
• Carry out audits and recommend corrective actions to close gaps.
• Collaborate with OCC leaders, field teams, and suppliers to improve processes.
• Develop and maintain training materials, SOPs, and contingency plans.
• Support implementation of new tankering processes and technologies.
• Monitor performance, competency, and cost efficiency, and provide insights.
• Promote safety, environmental compliance, quality, and customer service.
• Lead tankering incident reviews and share best practices.
