Severn Trent is seeking a Tankered Trade Technician to support the Tankered Waste operations at our Scunthorpe site. The role involves taking waste samples, performing basic analyses, handling paperwork, and ensuring loads are accepted or rejected in line with procedures to safeguard assets and processes.

Ideal candidates will hold a full driving licence, possess strong communication and attention to detail, and be comfortable working across multiple locations within the Seven Trent network.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Awareness of water or waste industry beneficial but training provided.

Responsibilities

• Take samples of waste loads and perform simple analytical testing.
• Complete paperwork and electronic records (duty of care and transportation).
• Decide acceptance or rejection of loads based on procedures to protect assets.
