Job summary

Certas Energy in the United Kingdom delivers fuel to a wide range of customers with a strong safety-first culture. As a Tanker Driver, you will ensure safe deliveries, perform vehicle checks and uphold all procedures while representing the brand to high standards.

You will join a national network with opportunities for career progression, ongoing training, and a supportive, safety-focused team environment across our UK depots.

Qualifications

• ADR qualification is essential.
• Class C or C+E licence required depending on role.
• Driver CPC qualification required.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good numerical and logical reasoning ability.
• Ability to work independently while remaining a strong team player.
• Previous tanker or fuel industry experience would be advantageous.
• PDP qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver fuel products in accordance with company procedures, delivery instructions and current legislation.
• Carry out vehicle safety inspections and daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness before each journey.
• Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental and quality procedures, reporting accidents, incidents, spills or operational issues promptly.
• Maintain full compliance with Driver’s Handbook requirements, depot operational procedures and company policies.
• Load and discharge products safely and accurately, ensuring deliveries are completed correctly and efficiently.
• Verify customer, product and delivery information before dispensing product and obtain proof of delivery where required .
• Act as a professional ambassador for Certas Energy, providing excellent customer service at every interaction.
• Communicate effectively with depot teams, supervisors and customers regarding delivery schedules, issues or discrepancies.
• Promote company products and services where appropriate and identify opportunities for additional business.
• Build positive working relationships across the business and contribute to a culture of teamwork, safety and operational excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing
