Job summary

Certas Energy is seeking a safety-focused Tanker Driver to deliver fuel products to customers across the UK. You will represent the brand, perform vehicle checks, and ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently in line with procedures.

The role requires ADR, Class C/C+E (as applicable), Driver CPC and Tachograph Card, with a strong commitment to health, safety and customer service. Previous tanker experience is advantageous, and PDP is desirable.

Qualifications

• ADR qualification is essential.
• Class C or Class C+E licence depending on role.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good numerical and logical reasoning ability.
• Ability to work independently while being a team player.
• Previous tanker or fuel industry experience is advantageous.
• PDP qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver fuel products in accordance with company procedures, delivery instructions and current legislation.
• Carry out vehicle safety inspections and daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness before each journey.
• Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental and quality procedures, reporting accidents, incidents, spills or issues promptly.
• Maintain full compliance with Driver’s Handbook requirements, depot procedures and company policies.
• Load and discharge products safely and accurately, ensuring deliveries are completed correctly and efficiently.
• Verify customer, product and delivery information before dispensing product and obtain proof of delivery where required.
• Act as a professional ambassador for Certas Energy with excellent customer service at every interaction.
• Communicate effectively with depot teams, supervisors and customers regarding delivery schedules, issues or discrepancies.
• Promote company products and services where appropriate and identify opportunities for additional business.
• Build positive working relationships across the business and contribute to teamwork, safety and operational excellence.
