Certas Energy in the UK is seeking a proactive Tanker Driver to safely deliver fuel products to customer locations, perform routine vehicle checks, and uphold safety and quality procedures. You will act as a professional ambassador, ensuring accuracy of delivery information and compliance with tachograph and licensing rules.

You’ll operate within a safety‑first culture, with ongoing training, development and clear progression paths across the UK’s largest independent fuel distributor.

Responsabilidades

• Safely deliver fuel products to customer locations following procedures and legislation.
• Carry out pre-journey, in-service and post-delivery vehicle checks.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, Environmental and quality procedures; report issues promptly.
• Maintain compliance with Driver’s Handbook and depot procedures.
• Load and discharge products safely and accurately; obtain proof of delivery where required.
• Verify delivery details and customer information before dispensing.
• Represent Certas Energy professionally with excellent customer service.
• Communicate delivery schedules and issues with depot teams and customers.
• Promote Certas Energy products and services and identify growth opportunities.
• Build positive working relationships to support teamwork, safety and excellence.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely deliver fuel products in accordance with company procedures, delivery instructions and current legislation.
• Carry out vehicle safety inspections and daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness before each journey.
• Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental and quality procedures, reporting accidents, incidents, spills or operational issues promptly.
• Maintain full compliance with Driver’s Handbook requirements, depot operational procedures and company policies.
• Load and discharge products safely and accurately, ensuring deliveries are completed correctly and efficiently.
• Verify customer, product and delivery information before dispensing product and obtain proof of delivery where required.
• Act as a professional ambassador for Certas Energy, providing excellent customer service at every interaction.
• Communicate effectively with depot teams, supervisors and customers regarding delivery schedules, issues or discrepancies.
• Promote company products and services where appropriate and identify opportunities for additional business.
• Build positive working relationships across the business and contribute to a culture of teamwork, safety and operational excellence.

What We’ll Need From You

• ADR qualification (essential).
• Class C or Class C+E licence, depending on role requirements.
• Driver CPC qualification.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good numerical and logical reasoning ability.
• Ability to work independently while remaining a strong team player.
• Previous tanker or fuel industry experience would be advantageous.
• PDP qualification is desirable.
