Job summary

Certas Energy, the UK’s largest independent fuel distributor, seeks a Tanker Driver to deliver fuel safely and professionally across customer locations. You will perform vehicle checks, adhere to health and safety standards, and communicate delivery schedules with depots and customers. Previous tanker experience is advantageous.

You will be part of a safety-first culture with ongoing training, PPE provided, and career progression opportunities within a nationwide network.

Qualifications

• Class C/C+E licence and relevant vehicle qualifications.
• Digital Tachograph card required.
• Proven commitment to health, safety and environmental standards.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver fuel products according to procedures and current legislation.
• Perform vehicle safety inspections and daily checks.
• Follow health, safety, environmental and quality procedures, reporting incidents promptly.
• Maintain compliance with Driver’s Handbook and depot procedures.
• Load and discharge products safely and accurately.
• Verify customer, product and delivery information and obtain proof of delivery.
• Represent Certas Energy and provide excellent customer service.
• Communicate delivery schedules and issues with depot teams and customers.
• Identify opportunities for additional business.
• Build positive relationships and promote safety and operational excellence.

What you’ll be doing

• Safely deliver fuel productsin accordance withcompany procedures, deliveryinstructionsand current legislation.
• Carry out vehicle safety inspections and daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness before each journey.
• Follow all Health, Safety, Environmental and quality procedures, reporting accidents, incidents,spillsor operational issues promptly.
• Maintain full compliance with Driver’s Handbook requirements, depot operationalproceduresand company policies.
• Load and discharge products safely and accurately, ensuring deliveries are completed correctly and efficiently.
• Verify customer,productand delivery information before dispensing product and obtain proof of delivery whererequired.
• Act as a professional ambassador forCertasEnergy, providing excellent customer service at every interaction.
• Communicate effectively with depot teams,supervisorsand customersregardingdelivery schedules,issuesor discrepancies.
• Promote company products and services whereappropriateandidentifyopportunities foradditionalbusiness.
• Build positive working relationships across the business and contribute to a culture of teamwork,safetyand operational excellence.

What we’ll need from you

• Class C or Class C+Elicence, depending on role requirements.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Strong commitment to health,safetyand environmental standards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Good numerical and logical reasoning ability.
• Ability to work independently whileremaininga strong teamplayer.
• Previoustanker or fuel industry experience would beadvantageous.
