Job summary

South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust seeks a Team Manager to lead Kirklees Talking Therapies, providing strategic and operational oversight across primary care and teams. This temporary 12‑month post requires a specialist psychological qualification or registered Mental Health qualification and proven experience in service improvement and senior management.

The role covers NICE‑compliant CBT/Counselling services delivered via clinic, Teams, or phone, with 8–8 duties across the Kirklees

Qualifications

• Dip Nursing RMHN, RMN or Degree in related field; CBT training preferred.
• Educated to degree level or equivalent; post-qualification CBT training encouraged.
• Willingness to undertake appropriate leadership and supervision training.

Responsibilities

• Lead the core team and provide strategic and operational management.
• Liaise with primary and secondary care partners; coordinate services with commissioners.
• Drive service improvements and ensure NICE-compliant talking therapies are delivered.
• Support staff development, supervision, and engagement across Kirklees area.
