Talent Sourcer – AI & Deep Tech

Salary: R38 000 – R40 000

As a Talent Sourcer, you’ll play a critical role in identifying and engaging world-class engineers, researchers, and scientists across the UK and EU.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run full-cycle sourcing for highly technical roles such as Software Engineers, Machine Learning Scientists, and AI Researchers.
  • Build and maintain strategic talent maps across European and UK markets.
  • Engage passive and active candidates with tailored, high-impact outreach campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders on targeting, role positioning, and market insights.
  • Draft clear and compelling candidate briefs and qualification notes.
  • Maintain clean pipelines and report on sourcing metrics effectively.
  • Refine search tactics, Boolean strings, and filters to optimise candidate engagement and performance.
Skills & Experience Required
  • 2–5 years of sourcing experience within the tech/engineering space (ideally with exposure to AI, deep tech, or hardware recruitment).
  • Strong understanding of European and UK tech markets.
  • Proven ability to identify and attract highly technical profiles (e.g., software engineers, ML experts).
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and sourcing tools such as Loxo, Juicebox, or equivalent CRMs.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to structure complex searches.
  • Reliable internet connection and access to a laptop/computer.
