About the Company

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a People Partner with a specific focus on Talent Acquisition to work closely with the Head of People. You will bring a marketing edge to attracting high talent into the business and partner with all managers across the community in supporting the execution of our strategy for how we attract, hire, and onboard new people during an exciting period of change. You will play an essential role in advancing a more diverse, accessible, equitable, and inclusive organisation through inclusive practices.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • In liaison with the marketing team, ensure the positive promotion of the organisation as an employer of choice.
  • Actively promote information on our website and other communication tools, sharing insights about the organisation and leveraging social media.
  • Highlight aspects like work-life balance, exciting events, and real-life experiences from current employees.
  • Partner with managers, advise, and agree on recruitment approaches, and oversee candidate care throughout the selection process.
  • Review and edit job advertisements, ensuring our culture and inclusion are at the forefront of our brand.
  • Support new hires post-interview, ensure effective onboarding, and provide necessary resources for a smooth transition.
  • Lead on effective onboarding to set a positive tone for employees.
  • Oversee the UK visa sponsorship system for new recruits and manage expiry dates for employees on time-limited visas.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in collaboration with the external payroll provider and finance team.
  • Optimize job listings to attract qualified candidates who align with the company culture.
  • Lead hiring processes across the organisation.
  • Undertake analytical job evaluations, referring to external consultants when appropriate.

Required Skills

Candidates must have experience with ITrent and in Higher Education.
