Job summary

Greencore Group plc is seeking a seasoned Talent & Performance Manager to shape and deliver talent and performance management strategies across our organisation. You will partner with senior leaders to build capability, strengthen succession pipelines, and support colleagues through key career transitions.

You will design programmes, utilise CPD tools, and drive measurable ROI on talent initiatives while coordinating budgets and external partnerships.

Qualifications

  • Graduate calibre and CIPD qualified (Level 3/5).
  • Capable of building credibility with senior leaders in an FMCG/private label business.
  • Excellent understanding of best practice and innovation in performance, talent, and career management.
  • Evidenced consulting skills with ability to identify root causes before proposing options/solutions.
  • Project management and coordination experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
  • Proficient in using raw data to draw insights and drive change.
  • Strong facilitation and delivery skills.
  • Experience coaching people; active listener and mentor.

Job description

  • Support the design and implementation of our approach to performance and career management, including assessment of potential, capability, and bench strength to inform development plans and succession pipelines
  • Contribute to an annual talent review in the organisation to identify capability risks, strengths, and opportunities to attract, develop and retain talent
  • Define and deploy a suite of suitable and effective talent assessment tools e.g., EQI, 360 feedback, managing associated software, platforms, or microsites
  • Take ownership for, track, administer and report on budgets across the whole team, to ensure they are maximised and adhered to, including the overseeing of all purchase orders, cross charges, ensuring accuracy in budget tracking, setting up and managing supplier communications, and working with Finance to ensure budget controls remain in place
  • Lead the delivery, development and evaluation of coaching and mentoring provision, including partnering on associated development tools, managing the technology solution, and driving CPD within the coaching and mentoring community.
  • Report on and evaluate success of talent initiatives, platforms, and interventions to demonstrate a clear return on investment and effective talent management
  • Source and manage suitable external supplier relationships which support talent programme delivery e.g., learning providers, education partners, universities.
