Role: Talent Development Partner

Location: Altrincham Campus with travel to all sites

To support this transformation, we are looking for a passionate and dedicated Talent Development Partner to join our team.
About the Role: As a Talent Development Partner, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and overseeing talent and development programs to enhance skills, improve team and individual performance, and foster career growth. You will operationalise initiatives as part of the TSCG Deal for Colleagues, enhancing the onboarding experience, performance management process, career path development, training plans, and competency frameworks. Your efforts will ensure that colleagues are engaged and equipped for future challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the management of talent initiatives, including the development and execution of leadership development programmes.
- Ensure adherence to mandatory training as part of our compliance obligations, in addition to developmental training.
- Provide a business partnership service for agreed departments/directorates to ensure TSCG's People First commitments and People and Culture best practice processes are embedded.
- Partner with managers to implement workforce and job design, talent and succession strategies that enable the Group to build the workforce needed for the delivery of strategic goals.
- Champion and role model the use of workforce data analytics to support and drive decisions.
- Collaborate with the Talent Attraction and Development Manager to map career families and pathways for the deployment of our Career Pathways initiative.
- Lead the role for Apprenticeships, including planning the growth of our offering, optimising funding available, and providing meaningful apprenticeships that support future needs and benefit individuals' careers.
Skills And Experience
- Education and Qualifications: CIPD qualified to chartered status or substantial equivalent HR experience. Be educated to level 7 or have experience demonstrating the capabilities associated with a qualification at that level.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of learning and development, talent attraction, and HR best practice. Understanding of IT applications in HR environments, EDI theory and practice, best practices in employee experience and employee voice, and employment law.
- Experience: Significant experience in a HR environment at a professional/advisory level. Experience in managing conflict and sensitive issues, partnering senior managers to identify workforce design, skills and capabilities, and driving meaningful talent and succession initiatives. Experience in managing learning and development activities, redesigning performance management processes and systems, and implementing LMS or online Career Pathway systems
- Skills and Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Ability to organise and analyse organisational workforce data, translate data into insights, and present and facilitate sessions with leadership teams. A strong focus on delivery of milestones and outcomes, and the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
