I am delighted to be working with one of my clients, based in London, as they look to recruit a full-time, permanent Talent & Development Manager.

The salary for this role is £45k per annum plus a £5k travel allowance.

Hybrid working is available - 1 day per week from home, with expected travel to various sites around London.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Work collaboratively with leaders, embedding a positive learning culture across all parts of the business.
  2. Conduct regular training needs analysis and allocate resources accordingly.
  3. Serve as the main point of contact for questions and discussions around learning, talent, and development.
  4. Provide advice and guidance on learning opportunities to support personal, departmental, and business objectives.
  5. Develop and deliver a range of leadership development programmes.
  6. Procure and collaborate with external training providers.
  7. Promote the use of LMS and maximize its potential for the business.
  8. Seek opportunities to secure funding from grants and other sources.
  9. Evaluate all learning interventions to assess their impact and efficacy.
  10. Develop career pathways for all roles and job families within the company.
  11. Promote and maintain succession planning across departments and report to the Boards.
  12. Produce L&D reports on training uptake and expenditure by department and site.
  13. Monitor the L&D budget and determine when to design in-house programs versus engaging external experts.

Experience required:

  1. Solid understanding of learning and development strategies, best practices, and processes.
  2. Ability to build positive relationships with senior stakeholders and explore training needs.
  3. Proven experience in designing and delivering in-house training and development opportunities.
  4. Experience in conducting training needs analysis, designing engaging training solutions, and providing ongoing coaching and support.
  5. Ability to foster a positive culture and build collaborative relationships across departments.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development professional seeking a new and exciting role.
