Doncasters is seeking a proactive Talent Development Coordinator to support our talent agenda across the UK. You’ll blend coordination, analysis and relationship management, owning UK apprenticeships, talent analytics and talent communications.
Working with the Talent Director and Partners, you’ll help run talent reviews, oversee development programmes and contribute to external talent mapping and learning initiatives.
This is a varied and exciting opportunity to play a key role in our Talent Development team, supporting the delivery of our talent agenda across the business. You’ll combine coordination, analysis and relationship management, taking ownership of key areas including UK apprenticeships, talent analytics and talent communications.
Working closely with the Talent Director and Talent Partners, you’ll support talent reviews and development programmes, with opportunities to contribute to wider talent projects, including external talent mapping.
You’ll coordinate our talent review cycle, bringing together talent assessments, succession plans and talent-risk information into a clear and accurate central view.
You’ll ensure submissions are complete and accurate, maintain confidentiality, support reporting and use your analytical skills to identify trends, gaps and insights for discussion with the Talent Development team.
You’ll also work with our Communications team to build awareness, engagement and understanding of the talent review process and its importance.
You’ll own the day-to-day oversight of our UK apprenticeships and Levy, including tracking expenditure and utilisation, managing provider relationships, monitoring learner progress, and promoting apprenticeships as a development and recruitment route.
You’ll also keep up to date with evolving government requirements to ensure our approach remains effective and compliant.
You’ll coordinate the delivery of learning and development activities, ensuring everything runs smoothly from planning through to follow-up. This will include scheduling, invitations, venues, materials, participant communications, attendance, evaluation and actions.
This role offers the opportunity to build on your existing experience and broaden your capability across talent management, apprenticeships, analytics and learning and development.
You don’t need to be an expert in content design or facilitation. As our talent agenda evolves, there may be opportunities to develop learning materials and facilitate sessions, with support to build your confidence and skills.
The experience gained could support future progression, depending on performance, capability and business opportunities.
We welcome applications from people with experience in talent management, learning and development or apprenticeship programme management, as well as those looking to move into talent development who bring relevant transferable skills.
You’ll be able to demonstrate experience coordinating programmes or processes, managing stakeholder relationships, and working accurately with data to produce useful insights. This could come from HR, recruitment or another relevant background.
You don’t need experience across every area of the role. What matters is that you understand its focus on developing existing employees and strengthening our internal talent pipeline and can show how your skills would support this work.
