  • 3+ years’ experience working in a global, matrixed organization.

Job Description

Responsible for leading the Talent & OD management & OD strategy across 31 European countries within the SGS Europe HR organization. Provides strategic guidance and support to local Talent & OD managers and works in close collaboration with the Head HR Europe to implement, promote, and communicate key initiatives related to succession planning, learning and development, employee engagement, career planning, and performance management. Has strategic oversight of regional Talent & OD programs, contributing significantly to the future-readiness and competitiveness of the European organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Strategic Talent & OD Planning:

Develop and implement a regional Talent & OD strategy that aligns with the European and Global HR agenda. Define and drive Talent & OD initiatives that address local needs while maintaining global coherence.

2. Succession Planning:

Lead succession planning processes for key positions across Europe. Identify critical roles and create robust Talent & OD pipelines. Use Talent & OD analytics to identify risks and build targeted development plans.

3. Learning & Development:

Lead and coordinate regional L&D initiatives, including training needs analysis, leadership development, and learning frameworks. Collaborate with local HR teams to ensure high-quality execution.

4. Employee Engagement:

Support deployment and action planning of engagement surveys (e.g. Peakon). Facilitate regional workshops and focus groups to identify and implement engagement improvement strategies.

5. Performance Management:
