Talent Consultant (Starting Well)

London Borough of Havering

Contract: 12-month fixed term contract/secondment opportunity

Pay: £42,324 to £46,512 per annum subject to final confirmation

The London Borough of Havering is looking to recruit a Talent Consultant (Starting Well). Manage the delivery of high-quality solutions across all aspects of talent management: attraction, identification, development, engagement, and deployment, ensuring future workforce needs are addressed, with the right number of people with the right skills, employed in the right place at the right time, working specifically for the Starting Well service.

If successful in your application for the role of Talent Consultant (Starting Well), you will be:

  1. Key tasks and accountabilities are intended to be a guide to the range and level of work expected of the post holder. This is not an exhaustive list of all tasks that may fall to the post holder and employees will be expected to carry out such other reasonable duties which may be required from time to time.
  2. Assist with the implementation of talent strategies through the provision of up-to-date advice and guidance, in a way that positively influences the employee’s experience.
  3. Manage all process and administration requirements, ensuring all activities are completed on time and relevant records are maintained. Retain all documentation in line with service requirements.
  4. Attracting talent - employer brand and employee value proposition.
  5. Input to the development and maintenance of corporate information and supporting tools that ensure Havering council is an attractive place to work.
  6. Work closely with the Transactional HR service to ensure the agreed information is hosted/available on the recruitment site.
  7. Resourcing talent - recruitment, temporary/interim solutions, internal redeployment.
  8. Manage recruitment campaigns ensuring use of approved recruitment frameworks, engaging with senior leaders and recruitment agencies as appropriate.
  9. Work alongside managers to identify the appropriate sourcing options and channels to drive value and maximise applications including internal talent.

Pay: £42,324 to £46,512 per annum subject to final confirmation.
