Who are we?

We’re Witan Search, a recruitment company that specialises in the Chemical and Energy sectors. From our office in Central Milton Keynes, we work with clients across Europe to help them find the right people to grow their teams.

Things are getting busier (in a good way), so we’re looking for someone motivated, curious, and ready to get stuck in. If you’re someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and learning along the way, you might be just who we’re looking for.

The Role

You’ll be joining us as a Talent Consultant, working closely with both clients and candidates. Whether you’ve done something similar before or are completely new to recruitment, we’ll support you with the tools and training you need to thrive.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing:

  • Building networks of brilliant candidates—especially through LinkedIn

  • Speaking with clients to understand who they’re looking for and why

  • Helping manage client accounts and supporting new business development

  • Sourcing candidates through job boards, platforms, and creative thinking

  • Writing job ads that actually make people want to apply

  • Interviewing candidates and matching them to the right opportunities

  • Keeping things organised in our applicant tracking system

  • Being a positive representative of our brand and culture


You’ll also get the chance to collaborate with our Marketing team—whether it’s shaping campaigns, supporting social media, improving how we advertise, or attending exhibitions in the UK and abroad.


What we're looking for

  • A degree in any relevant subject

  • Some experience in research, resourcing, or account management

  • Great communication and organisational skills

  • Comfortable using software like CRMs or ATS

  • Experience using social media to connect with others or build a brand

  • Any international experience (work or travel) is a bonus

  • Willing to travel occasionally for events or client meetings

Languages

Fluent English is essential. If you also speak French, Dutch, German or Spanish—that’s a definite plus.
