Talent Acquisition Consultant – Centralised recruitment team - Technology and Data

LOCATION: Leeds

Salary: £39,825 - £44,250

HOURS:Full-Time

WORKING PATTERN:Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

The Centralised Recruitment team delivers recruitment campaigns across multiple locations through strategic planning, candidate sourcing, research and market intelligence, supporting all recruitment activities across our tech and data vacancies.

We've got an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition consultant. You'll play a pivotal role setting higher standards for talent quality through crafting sourcing and delivery strategies aligned with ambitious talent acquisition goals and proactively finding top passive and diverse talent available in the market. You'll play a meaningful role in our team's thought leadership through offering insights into emerging industry trends and candidate experience.

We'll need you to

  • Use strategic sourcing methods by utilising sophisticated tools and techniques to identify, engage, and attract high-quality candidates, particularly for our tech and data business units.

  • Have deep knowledge of market intelligence tools such as LinkedIn Talent Insights, Talent Neuron, Horsefly and web-based researching techniques to deliver market insights to support hiring decisions.

  • Have an understanding of direct sourcing and talent research methods by using various channels and databases such as LinkedIn, online communities, social media profiles, competing companies and more, utilising search string and data mining.

  • Take an active role in guiding candidates through the recruitment journey, ensuring a smooth and personalised experience, always looking for ways to improve the candidate experience.

  • Use our employee value proposition to drive creative attraction strategies to generic diverse candidate pipelines.

  • Contribute insights to enhance existing sourcing methodologies and adopting more advanced technologies, driving continuous improvement in the team's sourcing practices.

  • Manage large scale recruitment pipelines and ensure outstanding candidate engagement and enablement of recruitment policies and standards.

  • Utilise a strategic approach to gain a deeper understanding of organisational goals. Ensuring sourcing and attractive activities are closely aligned with broader strategic objectives.

  • Collaborate through being an active participator in team development initiatives, and encouraging a collaborative and innovative environment.

What you’ll need

  • Tech and data recruitment- Experience sourcing and recruiting within tech and data in a large complex environment.

  • Advanced external sourcing– Experience of building and implementing sourcing and attraction strategies that can deliver high quality candidates at pace and volume, as well as developing a robust network within the industry for proactive talent identification. Leading initiatives to diversify candidate pipelines for better inclusivity using the latest sourcing & social media platforms such as TikTok & LinkedIn.

  • Stakeholder Management– Expertise in leading multiple customers with contending priorities, with the ability to talk to the demand and supply data to provide updates to collaborators. You'll need to be able to navigate and resolve conflicts with differing colleagues independently and demonstrate the ability to influence and guide hiring decisions

  • Candidate Experience– A passion for the candidate journey, through understanding the needs of candidates and providing a fiction free recruitment journey as well as using data and insights to support improvements.

  • Data and Reporting– Using data and insights to help identify blockages and areas of potential improvement in the hiring process.

  • Business Insight– An understanding of the industry landscape and market dynamics and the ability to align recruitment strategies with broader strategic objectives.

  • In-house recruitment– Experience in in-house recruitment to support the business to understand process, policies, and intricacies of the recruitment system through the end to end recruitment journey.

And any experience of these would be really useful

Experience in using Workday, Talent Neuron, LinkedIn Recruiter, LinkedIn Talent Insights and Avature. Sourcing and hiring for Software Engineering, Tester, DevOps & SRE, Data Engineering & Data Science roles.
