Job description

My client, a high profile global Hedge Fund, are looking to make a ‘Talent Acquisition Specialist’ hire. This is into the firm's expanding London office.

The hire will take ownership for European non-investment function talent acquisition at the firm, a remit that will be highly visible & autonomous. In addition to either working individual searches hands-on, or managing the recruitment process with external agencies, the hire will work with senior business heads to evolve how the firm assess talent coming into the firm, whilst striving for a good mix of early talent and senior talent hiring, including the development and execution of the lateral talent plan. This is an exciting time to join the firm as they expand their global footprint and build out a best-in-class HR function in its rapidly expanding London office.

Candidates should have 3-5yrs relevant FS recruitment experience, either working within an in-house HR function, or directly from an FS recruitment firm. Excellent communication and presentation skills are a pre-requisite. There is also a strong focus on academic profile.

The role is projected to pay a £70-90k base salary and a large % bonus if the hire exceeds annual targets. A sign on bonus and/or bonus guarantee will ensure that the hire will not lose out financially if he/she is moving pre-bonus. An excellent benefits package includes a top tier pension & healthcare plan + fully subsidised breakfast, lunch and gym.
