BDO UK LLP is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the Baker Street offices. You will manage your own resourcing areas, build relationships with senior stakeholders and influence innovative recruitment strategies to attract top talent.

You’ll collaborate with senior managers, directors, and partners to align recruitment with business needs. The role requires in-house recruitment experience, strong communication, and a client-focused approach, with solid knowledge of employment law

In line with the firm’s ambitious and progressive vision and strategy, resourcing and talent management plays a key role in its delivery. You will act as a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the firm’s PMD service lines in our Baker Street offices.

You will be working within a small resourcing team, and will have sole responsibility for your own business areas, building relationships with senior level stakeholders and working with them to understand their future business needs. The is an exciting opportunity to not only deliver good people, but also to directly influence strategic and innovative resourcing solutions to attract top talent.

You’ll be someone with:

• Previous in-house recruitment experience, ideally with audit recruitment experience broader professional services experience would also be beneficial
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence, challenge constructively and build credibility quickly
• Strong business acumen and a client-focused approach, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior management
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to prioritise effectively and drive outcomes through to completion
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of employment law relevant to resourcing and the recruitment lifecycle
• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
• Good working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook, ideally including strong Excel skills
• A proactive, solutions‑focused and risk‑aware approach, with the ability to handle confidential information appropriately
• A professional, personable and adaptable style, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively, travel when required and demonstrate the firm’s values
