BDO UK LLP is seeking an Assistant Manager in Internal Audit to support planning and delivery of engagements for Financial Services clients. You’ll organise work, sometimes lead complex assignments, and help develop client relationships while guiding junior team members.

You’ll collaborate with senior managers, directors, and partners, applying UK regulatory knowledge and best practices to deliver value to ambitious organisations. This role offers agile working within a UK-based team.

Formación

• ICAEW/ACCA membership or equivalent qualification.
• Experience delivering internal audit engagements, preferably in financial services.
• Knowledge of UK regulatory environment and asset/wealth management risks.
• Experience managing people and influencing stakeholders.

As Assistant Manage within the Internal Audit team you'll have involvement in supporting the planning of engagements within the Assets and Wealth sector. In this role you will and organise the delivery of the work and sometimes directly lead more complex assignments. You'll manage internal audit internal control and regulatory assignments for Financial Services clients, including planning, organisation of resources and review You'll play an important role in developing and maintaining deep client relationships and development members of the BDO team.

You’ll be someone with:

• An Accountancy or internal audit professional qualifications and/or memberships i.e. ICAEW, CIMA, CIIA, ACCA etc or relevant industry qualification.

• Internal audit or regulatory assurance experience working in financial services and ideally with wealth or asset management

• Diverse internal audit or advisory assignments experience and understand internal audit methodology and techniques

• Functional knowledge of the UK regulatory environment with deeper knowledge of asset/wealth management and the risks that they face

• People manager experience that includes managing others alongside strong influencing skill

• Sound technical knowledge of financial regulated products and / customer facing
