About this opportunity

We're looking for a talented and proactive Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing Talent Acquisition team. This is an exciting time to come on board as, alongside supporting hiring across the UK, we continue to expand our Talent Acquisition capability into new international markets across Europe and the Middle East.

You will be responsible for developing, implementing and administering talent acquisition end-to-end; from developing strategies and sourcing techniques, qualifying and interviewing candidates to relaying job offers and assisting with on boarding. You will establish relationships with internal stakeholders across the business such as HR, Hiring Managers and Business Leaders and external stakeholders such as recruitment agencies. You will manage a variety of vacancies across all levels and multiple locations and be responsible for ensuring a reliable pipeline of qualified candidates is maintained. You will also be responsible for maintaining our applicant tracker tool, SAP SuccessFactors, for your dedicated vacancies.

This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact, helping to shape recruitment strategies, build talent pipelines and influence hiring outcomes across a diverse range of business functions, locations and regions.

A few of our employee benefits are:
  • Half day finish on a Friday
  • 25 days holiday per year (plus bank holidays), increasing with long service and with the opportunity to buy/sell up to 5 days
  • Private medical insurance with optional family cover
  • Pension scheme of up to 8% employer contribution
  • Life Assurance 4x salary (flexible up to 10x)
  • Group income protection
  • Flexible opt-in extras such as a health care cash plan, dental insurance, gym membership, critical illness cover, cycle to work scheme, travel insurance and electric car scheme
  • Employee Family Assistance Program providing mental health and wellbeing support
What the role will involve

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

  • Enable L3Harris businesses to achieve their growth ambitions by attracting, engaging and securing top talent across the UK and emerging international markets.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and HR teams to deliver a seamless end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, ensuring all hiring activity is compliant, efficient and aligned to business objectives.
  • Work with Hiring Managers and HR teams to understand key resource requirements to ensure the development of sourcing strategies that meet current and future organisational needs.
  • Proactively engage with both passive and active candidates through various channels and report progress against resourcing activity.
  • Act as the first point of contact for L3Harris for potential future employees and provide a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Own and maintain recruitment activity within SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring accurate data, reporting and recruitment metrics are consistently up to date.
  • Collaborate closely with HR colleagues, business leaders and key stakeholders to drive successful hiring outcomes and continuously improve recruitment processes.
  • Manage partnerships with external recruitment agencies where required to support business hiring objectives.
  • Contribute to broader Talent Acquisition initiatives and projects, including Early Careers recruitment, employer branding, recruitment marketing campaigns, process improvement activities, and Hiring Manager training and capability workshops.
What you'll bring

The role requires the following experience and skills:

  • Proven experience attracting, sourcing and hiring talent within either an in-house Talent Acquisition function or a recruitment agency environment.
  • Demonstrated success managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from stakeholder briefing and talent attraction through to offer management and onboarding.
